Looking for somewhere to play padel in London?
You’re not the only one.
Padel has exploded across the city, with new courts, clubs and communities making it easier than ever to pick up a racquet and get involved.
Whether you’re booking your first game or already planning your week around your next one, here’s the SERVE guide to getting on court in London.
Where can I play padel in London?
London’s padel scene is growing quickly, with courts popping up everywhere from central London to neighbourhood clubs further out.
When choosing where to play, think about what you actually want from the experience.
Some clubs are focused on serious play and coaching. Others offer more of a social, lifestyle-led experience with cafés, events and spaces to hang out after your game.
Our preference?
Good courts, good coffee and somewhere you actually want to stay afterwards.
I'm a beginner. Where do I start?
If you’ve never played before, look for an intro session, beginner lesson or social game rather than jumping straight into a competitive match.
You’ll learn the basics, understand how the glass works and meet other players at a similar level.
And don’t worry about turning up alone. Padel is naturally social, and beginner sessions are one of the easiest ways to find people to play with.
How do I find people to play with?
This is probably one of the most common questions when you first start.
Most clubs run social sessions, WhatsApp groups, leagues or matchmaking through their booking platforms.
You can also look for local padel communities and events designed specifically to bring new players together.
Once you find a few people at a similar level, the group chat usually takes care of the rest.
Make a morning of it
One of our favourite things about padel is everything around the game.
Book a court, grab a coffee afterwards, convince yourself you’ll only stay for one and inevitably start planning the next match.
For us, padel has always been as much about community as competition.
It’s exactly why we created SERVE Social, bringing people together on court in a way that feels welcoming, social and fun.
