It started with a game of padel.
Like most people who try it, I was instantly hooked. It was social, easy to pick up and, honestly, a lot of fun. I’ve never been a Sporty Spice, so finding a sport I genuinely wanted to keep playing felt like quite a big deal.
Naturally, I decided I needed my own racquet.
Easy, right? Wrong.
I started looking and couldn’t find one I actually loved. A lot of the options felt very technical, came in darker colours and, as someone new to the sport, were a little intimidating.
I wanted something different. A racquet that was lightweight, easy to play with and genuinely beautiful. Something I’d actually be excited to take onto court.
And, of course, it had to be exactly the right shade of pink.
From an idea to SERVE
The more I spoke to friends who were discovering padel too, the more I realised I wasn’t the only one.
There was an opportunity to create something that felt considered with women in mind from the start, without compromising on quality.
So I decided to create it myself.
After months of developing the idea, working through samples, colours, branding and all the little details that go into bringing a new brand to life, SERVE launched in September 2025 with our first collection of pastel padel racquets.
What started with one simple idea has since grown into something much bigger.
More than a racquet
From the beginning, I wanted SERVE to feel like more than somewhere you bought a padel racquet.
We’re building a lifestyle brand around the way padel actually makes you feel. The friends you meet, the post-match coffee, what you wear, where you play and that slightly addictive feeling of wanting to book your next game before you’ve even left the court.
Alongside our racquets, we’re creating style-led products for on and off court, collaborating with brands we love and bringing people together through events and our growing SERVE community.
For me, that community has become one of the best parts of building the brand.
Our first year
Our first year has taken SERVE to places I genuinely never expected when I started.
Our products have travelled to customers across 25 countries, we’ve landed on the shelves of padel clubs and retailers in the UK and beyond, and we’ve worked with some incredible brands along the way.
SERVE has also been featured in titles including The Sunday Times, Harper’s Bazaar, Women’s Health, Grazia and SheerLuxe, and in 2026 we were named a British Padel Awards Finalist.
There have been events, collaborations, late nights packing orders and plenty of moments where I’ve had to remind myself that this all started because I couldn’t find a pink racquet I liked.
What’s next for SERVE?
We’re still at the beginning.
There are new products, new events, new collaborations and lots more planned as we continue building SERVE into a brand and community that brings a fresh perspective to padel.
Our mission is to redefine racket sports through style, community and confidence, inspiring more people to discover the joy of padel.
Thank you to everyone who has bought a racquet, come to an event, shared SERVE with a friend or simply followed along so far.
There’s so much more to come.
Serve your style.
See you on court.
