When I started SERVE in July 2025, I never imagined that less than a year later we would be named a finalist at the British Padel Awards.
What started as a simple idea, to make padel more accessible for beginners and women, has quickly grown into something much bigger. Being recognised so early in the journey is incredibly exciting, and honestly, a little surreal.
SERVE was created after discovering padel myself and noticing a gap in the market. The sport felt welcoming and social, but the equipment didn’t always reflect that. Many rackets felt technical and intimidating, particularly for beginners. I wanted to create something more approachable. Lightweight, confidence building rackets designed to help more people step onto court for the first time.
Since launching, the journey has moved quickly. What started as a small idea has grown into a brand, a community, and a mission to encourage more people into padel.
In our first year, we’ve been fortunate to reach some exciting milestones:
• Our first collection sold out five times in the first year (scary but exciting!)
• We collaborated with L’Oréal !!
• Listed with three top padel retailers
• Sponsored key female focused padel events
• Raised & matched fundraiser for Breast Cancer Awareness
Each step has been about growing participation and making padel feel more accessible. Seeing new players pick up a racket for the first time and become part of the community has been the most rewarding part of the journey so far.
Being recognised as a finalist at the British Padel Awards feels like a huge milestone for a small, growing brand. It reflects not just the growth of SERVE, but also the growing movement to make padel more inclusive and accessible for everyone.
I’m incredibly grateful to everyone who has supported SERVE so far. From players and clubs to partners and the wider padel community, this journey wouldn’t be possible without you.
There is so much more planned, from new collections and community events to further collaborations and initiatives focused on growing the sport.
To be recognised at this stage is something I’m incredibly proud of, and I’m excited to see what the next chapter brings.
