It started with a simple game of padel back in March 2025.
Like many people discovering the sport for the first time, I was instantly hooked. Padel felt different. It was social, welcoming, and easy to pick up. You didn’t need years of experience to enjoy it. Within a few sessions, I found myself wanting to play more, meeting new people, and quickly becoming part of a growing community.
But as I played more, something became clear.
While padel itself felt accessible, the equipment didn’t always feel that way.
Most rackets on the market were technical, performance focused, and often designed with experienced players in mind. For beginners, especially those new to racket sports, this could feel intimidating. There were limited options that felt approachable, lightweight, and confidence building.
I also noticed that many rackets looked very similar. Dark, technical, and performance driven. For new players, particularly women, there was an opportunity to create something that felt more welcoming.
That’s where SERVE began.
Making Padel More Accessible
SERVE was created with one simple goal.
Encourage more people into padel by making the sport feel more accessible.
From the beginning, the focus was on beginner friendly rackets. Lightweight, easy to handle, and designed to help build confidence on court. The aim wasn’t to compete with elite performance rackets, but to create something that helped new players feel comfortable stepping onto court for the first time.
But SERVE quickly became about more than just rackets.
It became about community.
Building a Community
One of the most exciting parts of starting SERVE has been meeting players at the beginning of their padel journey. Many were trying the sport for the first time, often feeling unsure, but quickly discovering how fun and welcoming padel can be.
Through events, partnerships and collaborations, SERVE has focused on helping introduce more people to the sport. Encouraging beginners, supporting female participation, and helping make padel feel inclusive from day one.
Seeing players pick up a racket for the first time, then continue playing regularly, has been one of the most rewarding parts of the journey so far.
A Strong First Year
Since launching in 2025, SERVE has grown quickly, with some exciting milestones along the way:
- Key collection sold out five times in the first year
- Listed with key leading Padel retailers
- Sponsored key female focused padel events
- Supported Club openings
- Supported Breast Cancer awareness with Pink October
Each of these milestones has helped introduce SERVE to new players and continue growing the community.
Why SERVE Is Different
SERVE isn’t just about creating rackets. It’s about making padel more welcoming.
While many brands focus on performance, SERVE focuses on accessibility. Creating products designed for beginners, supporting communities, and encouraging more women into the sport.
Padel is one of the fastest growing sports in the world, and we believe that growth should be inclusive. The more people who feel comfortable stepping onto court, the stronger the community becomes.
This Is Just the Beginning
From discovering padel in 2025 to launching SERVE and building a growing community, it has been an exciting first year. But this is only the start.
SERVE will continue to:
- Encourage beginners into the sport
- Support female participation
- Grow community events
- Collaborate with partners and clubs
- Continue designing accessible, beginner friendly rackets
Padel is growing quickly, and we’re proud to be part of that journey.
Thank you to everyone who has supported SERVE so far.
There is so much more to come.
